This backgammon is completely handcrafted and carved from one piece of walnut wood and features hornbeam wood incrustation. Combination of complex elements covers the entire surface of the backgammon. One side depicts an everyday village scene where a woman spins yarn on a traditional spinning wheel and another tends to a traditional butter churn called khnotsi that is hanging from a tree. The reverse side of the backgammon is designed for playing checkers, which is engraved with a wicker ornaments.
The surface is treated with natural beeswax. The hinges and locks are made of cast bronze. The entire playing field is hand carved out of one piece of wood.
